Getting Your Beauty Sleep is No Joke!

Our bodies are so amazing. While we sleep our bodies take advantage of this time of rest and restoration. This is an excellent time to treat your skin and repair damage such as lines, wrinkles and dark spots.

Day time moisturizers are formulated to hydrate our skin, but they may also contain ingredients designed to protect our skin's natural barrier from free radicals we come in contact with daily. While we sleep we are not susceptible to UVA/UVB ray exposure from the sun, blue light exposure from screens, pollutants from the air. While we sleep our faces should be free of makeup and other pore-clogging residue, if we cleanse before going to bed!

Night time moisturizers hydrate, repair and improve our skin while day time moisturizers hydrate and protect. The moisturizer you use at night is likely packed with ingredients to support our skin as it ages as well as combat other issues such as lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.

Even though you're tired, don't skip out on your night time skin care routine. Allow your face to take advantage of a good night's rest too.
